When I wrote this song in my early twenties, I couldn’t imagine how accurately it would define the direction of my life, almost ten years later. I had been trapped, afraid of listening to my heart as opposed to following the rules I had been taught, the programming of my education and my mind. This song was a call to myself to go beyond this fear, and choose my own path.

A call that I find still difficult to hear...


Lorsque j'écrivis cette chanson vers 22 ans, je ne pouvais imaginer à quel point ces vers donneraient le sens de ma vie presque dix ans après. J’étais alors prisonnier de ma peur d’écouter mon cœur plutôt que mon éducation et mon esprit formaté. Cette chanson était un appel à moi-même pour choisir mon chemin au delà de cette peur.

C’est un appel qu’il m’est encore difficile d’entendre…
