The experience of being in the subway at peak hour always felt like a paradox to me. I’ve never felt as lonely as when I am surrounded by so many people, in such a small space. The neon lights, the disconnection from Mother Nature. There is a bubble that everyone seems to create around them, just to be able to cope with such an oppressing environment.


L’expérience du métro aux heures de pointe a toujours suscité chez moi un sentiment de paradoxe. Je ne me suis jamais senti aussi seul que dans cet espace confiné entouré de tant de gens. La lumière des néons, la déconnection de Mère Nature, la bulle que chacun semble avoir construit autour de lui afin de faire face à un environnement si oppressant…
