We perceive ourselves as civilized, but underneath the layers of our ego, there lies the reality of who we are: wild animals. A few thousand years of so-called civilization couldn’t begin to bury millions of years of evolution under brutal survival conditions. Rather than denying it, I believe that honest acknowledgement of what we really are is the first and most important step towards transcending our bestiality.


Nous nous percevons comme civilisés mais bien tapis sous les multiples couches de notre égo se trouve notre moi véritable : un animal sauvage. Les quelques milliers d’années de prétendue civilisation n’ont pas effacé les millions d’année d’évolution dans de brutales conditions de survie. Plutôt que de se voiler la face, je pense qu’une reconnaissance honnête de ce que nous sommes vraiment est la première et la plus essentielles des étapes pour transcender notre bestialité.
